What is QTEM?
Quantitative Techniques for Economics and Management (QTEM), is an international Master’s network bringing together outstanding students, academic partners and international corporations. QTEM develops skills in analytical and quantitative techniques to support decision-making in an international context.

HSE University - Saint Petersburg has been participating in the QTEM international Master's network since 2017. Students study abroad and complete internships at foreign companies to learn how to use quantitative methods in management and economics. The Editorial Office spoke with three QTEM students about their experience switching to online learning while studying in other countries.
HSE University has made the 2020 QS World University Rankings by Subject in 23 broad and specific subject areas, which is four more than last year. HSE now ranks in 19 of the 38 subject rankings in which Russian universities are represented; as well as in four out of five broad subject areas. Rostelecom Became a HSE University - St. Petersburg Corporate Partner within QTEM Consortium of Business Schools.
The tripartite partnership agreement between HSE University in Saint Petersburg, PJSC Rostelecom and QTEM international consortium was signed in Saint Petersburg on November 22.
On June 19th at the Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) headquarters in Brussels, QTEM signed its first cooperation agreement with an NGO. Secretary General Bruno van Pottelsberghe, Managing Director Laurent Gheeraert, together with Lauriane Dewulf and Manuel Brown, discussed the foundations of a fruitful collaboration with MSF representatives.
Accreditation for a period of three years was awarded by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), one of the world's largest professional associations in the field of business and management. ‘Finance’ is the first Master's programme in Russia that received such accreditation.

HSE has ranked 7th amongst universities in Eurasia. The ranking has been compiled for the first time by Times Higher Education and is presented by Kazan Federal University.
